24 And the boat was already many stades[a] distant from the land, being tormented by the waves. For the wind was contrary. 25 And He came to them in the fourth watch[b] of the night, walking across[c] the sea. 26 But the disciples, having seen Him walking on the sea, were frightened, saying that “It is a phantom[d]”. And they cried-out from the fear.
